that's one thing that always turned my off the wrangler as a family car. Loud, cold and wet, even with the hardtops.

Uncomfortable and bad gas mileage. Not very roomy inside, even the Unlimited... which is what this one is.

Leaky roof is also a symptom of Land-Rover Series/Defender ownership, only because the roof is bedded in a channel all the way around, "surprise water" can come in sloshes instead of just a drip.

well uncomfortable (in terms of ride) and bad gas mileage I have in spades, so thats no biggie. But I do love a hard top.

I once read in a German car magazine, that you can consider the roof on a Wrangler to be tight, if you can lock a cat inside at night, and it's still there the next morning.

Looks like they thought about it, thats a nicely placed cubby hole to collect the dripping water..

I moved a 2010 Unlimited this morning and got fucking rained on from the screw holes in that b-pillar roof bar. Whoever put the top on last didn't screw them in all the way, those are the most common water leaks we see. We have one in for service right now that is leaking from where youra likely is. It's just a Jeep thing. Personally, I'd only buy a Wrangler if the downsized it and made a real hard top.

Had a similar issue with the cherokee, every once and a while the doors would just go flying off!

one of the weather strips is folded over. Mines never leaked (except for that one time I forgot to put the top back on...)

That's it? Amateur. My Supra's targa top would leak during a drought..

My daughter and I would come out soaked during car washes (which we did on purpose), and I used to carry a towel the same color as the seats (for that seamless effect).

Still, it was worth it!!!!
